1. What is SEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is a method of adding and editing the coding and content of your website to help your website show up higher on search engines like Google and Yahoo and Bing.
2. How Does SEO Work?
SEO works by figuring out what the search engines are looking for when they 'index' your website. When a search engine like Google indexes your site, they look at a number of things like Page Titles, Page Descriptions and Keywords. Search engines then use this information to rank your website.
3. How Do You Implement SEO on My Website?
The first step is keyword research. We need to know what keywords and phrases people are using when they are looking for your products and services. Then, we take the information and make sure it's implemented properly on your website - in Page Titles, Descriptions and throughout the content on the website.
After that, there are a number of other things that are implemented, such as making sure all of your images have 'alt text' coding descriptions, adding an XML sitemap - and many more little tips and tricks that are done monthly to improve your SEO.
4. How Will I Know if my SEO Campaign is Working?
The first thing is seeing your website rankings improve! You'll be able to type in keywords on Google and see that your website is showing up higher on search engines.
Secondly - each month you will receive an SEO report that shows where your site ranks for the keywords and phrases we've chosen. The report will also include information on number of visitors, where visitors linked from and the most popular pages on your website.
5. How long does it take SEO to start working?
You will see results within the first month - pages on your website that were not showing up before will start to show up. In the second and third month, you will see those results get even higher. During the four to six month timeframe, you will see the results become more consistent and even higher.
6. Can you guarantee my site will be #1 on Google?
No, we can't. There is too much that goes on with SEO and a lot of competition. However, we set a goal of getting your website on the first page of Google and usually we are able to do that for most of the keywords within the first 3 - 4 months.
7. Do you do National SEO Campaigns or just Small Business SEO?
